In his latest attempt at being fashion forward ahead of Monday night’s contest between the Panthers and Redskins, the Duke of Dab rocked a hat that could best be described as the amalgamation of Jack Nicholson’s Joker fedora and a Canadian Mountie.

Well, at least he’s wearing a tie, right?
UPDATE: Apparently, Newton wore the hat and outfit in honor of the late NBA sideline reporter Craig Sager. An honorable gesture by Newton, but still a ridiculous hat.
