Can 3D Movies Be Viewed With Real 3D Glasses On A Regular Lcd Monitor

So maybe my question is– is this real? It sure seems to be. Next question: Why aren’t we getting real cheap 3d movies right now on CDs or in downloads if literally nothing is needed but an LCD monitor and a pair of real-3D glasses left over from the last 3D movie you saw?
